Local Biz Spotlight: A Little Happy
The Cutest Shop in Five Points!

This week, I’m highlighting one of my absolute favorite spots in Columbia—A Little Happy in Five Points!
If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out. It’s the ultimate go-to for all things sorority merch, cute gifts, and fun little finds. Every time my mom visits, we have to stop by, and honestly, I could spend hours just looking at everything!
Positives:
One of the best things about A Little Happy is the incredible selection of sorority merch. No matter which sorority you or your student are in, they have something perfect—from adorable T-shirts to keychains, jewelry, and other fun accessories. It’s also a great place to find gifts, especially if you’re putting together a bid day basket or need something special for a big/little reveal. Beyond sorority gear, they have a ton of other cute finds, including jewelry, cups, postcards, keychains, and all kinds of little knick-knacks that make perfect souvenirs or gifts. If you’re ever in a pinch for a last-minute present, this is the spot to go. Whether it’s for a friend’s birthday, a roommate’s special day, or even a just-because gift, they have something for every occasion.
The shop itself is so cute and welcoming, and it’s located right in Five Points, making it the perfect stop while exploring downtown Columbia. Plus, it’s just a quick walk from campus, so you don’t have to go far to find the perfect little surprise for someone. Every time I go, I end up finding something new, and it’s one of those places where you walk in for one thing and leave with five. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or someone else, A Little Happy always has something fun waiting to be discovered!
Negatives:
Honestly, there are no negatives to A Little Happy. My only complaint is that I wish they would expand because there’s just so much to look at! It’s the kind of place where you want even more space to browse because every little corner has something fun and unique.
Would I recommend:
Would I recommend it? Absolutely! Whether you’re in a sorority or not, this shop is a must-visit. It’s perfect for parents looking to pick up a little something for their student, for students wanting to grab cute gifts for friends, or even just for a fun shopping trip. If you haven’t been, make sure to stop by next time you’re in Five Points—you won’t regret it!
