Hats Off to the Grads: USC Commencement Weekend is Here! 🎓

To all the parents, families, and students of the University of South Carolina—this weekend is a big one! Huge congratulations to our graduating Gamecocks who will be walking across the stage at Colonial Life Arena. Commencement ceremonies will take place Friday, May 9, 2025, and Saturday, May 10, 2025.

We’re so proud of everything this class has accomplished, and we know they’re going to do big things (hopefully while still remembering where their first USC dorm was). Wishing all our grads the best as they take on their next adventure—just don’t forget to come back for football games and tailgates! Once a Gamecock, always a Gamecock. ❤️🐔

Coach Beamer’s Hitting the Road: 2025 Welcome Home Tour Dates!

Dates have officially been set for the 2025 Welcome Home Tour with our head football coach, Shane Beamer! This five-stop tour is making its way across South Carolina, giving Gamecock fans the chance to meet Coach Beamer, hear about the upcoming season, and connect with fellow fans. The fun kicks off Monday, April 21 in Florence and wraps up Monday, May 12 in Rock Hill. Each stop includes food, fun, and football talk—with ticket prices varying by location (and yes, there are discounted prices for kids too!).

It’s a great way to show your Gamecock spirit and get hyped for the season ahead. Whether you're a student, alum, or proud parent, it's worth checking out if one of the stops is near you! And let’s be real—any excuse to hear Coach Beamer speak and eat some good food is a win.

One Last Hurrah on the Horseshoe: Don’t Miss Last Night Carolina!

I wanted to give you a heads-up about an upcoming event that’s as bittersweet as realizing your little sibling is officially cooler than you. It's called Last Night Carolina, and it's happening on May 6th from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on the historic Horseshoe. This is a special send-off for graduating seniors to celebrate their time at UofSC with friends, faculty, and, of course, Cocky.​

For parents, if you're in town, it's a wonderful opportunity to see your soon-to-be graduate in their natural habitat one last time before they toss that cap. And for students, it's your chance to soak in the campus vibes, snap some Insta-worthy pics, and maybe even shed a tear or two (no judgment). So, mark your calendars and make sure to swing by—because nothing says "I'm ready for the real world" like free food and a photo op with Cocky!
